1968 dodge charger passenger front tire rub

No there is no rot in that frame rail. Looking at the strut rods fron under the car they appear straight. The photo you have circled is the driver side btw. I may just try adjusting/loosening the eccentric bolts of the upper control arm and see where that gets me.

1968 dodge charger passenger front tire rub

I am not sure of the history of the car and do not think it has been aligned in a long time. Tire size is 235/70R15. American racing vector rims I believe, backspacing 3.75". I do not think the front end is sitting low. When I did the front brakes I just installed the spindle and discs. I have...

1968 dodge charger passenger front tire rub

How is caster adjusted? I believe that will move the passenger front tire closer to the rear of the fender. Also, I will try to get photos tommorow. Thanks everyone for the suggestions!

1968 dodge charger passenger front tire rub

Tire size is 235/70R15. Looking again at the car it looks like the passenger fender is not a 68. On the inside of the passenger fender I see a rectangle not circular hole. This hole is covered by filler on the exterior. Is there a difference in wheel well shape/positioning between 68 and 69?

WTB 1968 charger headlight harness connector

The side with the female spade terminals is rotten. The upper/male side is still solid so either the female or whole connector would be fine. My plan was to find a replacement plastic piece and remove/reinsert each spade terminal one by one into the new one

1968 dodge charger passenger front tire rub

Hi, When I turn left, my passenger front tire rubs/bends in the passenger fender lip. It seems the passenger front tire is more forward than the driver front. What could be the cause? I recently put new disc brakes and tires so I am not sure if the issue is with the alignemnt or tire size. What...

Hi, Can someone please post individual pictures of what the belts for the front driver and passenger should look like/where they should connect? 1968 Dodge Charger A/C 440 Heater Blower Not working

Yes but I should have been clearer. I directly attached a 12V battery here to "LOW" and "HIGH" to make the fan spin at two different speeds.

1968 Dodge Charger A/C 440 Heater Blower Not working

Sounds good, I will try to find it! Well I get 12V at the connector of the fan motor when I unplug the motor. When I plug it in I get ~2V at the connector so the fan doesn`t spin.

1968 Dodge Charger A/C 440 Heater Blower Not working

Oh ok, so "14T" is connected to 12V or "14BK" when Heat or A/C button is pressed. "14BK" then gets its power from "C1-14BK*"? If so, the instrument panel connector is a single connection connector?

1968 Dodge Charger A/C 440 Heater Blower Not working

I jumpered 12V to the connector after the heater fan switch and I can run the fan at two different speeds. I also tested the switch and it seems to be working fine. And ok this helps alot, thanks! But where does this "BATT" wire get 12V from? I am trying to trace my way back. I do not have an...

1968 Dodge Charger A/C 440 Heater Blower Not working

Hi, I am trying to make the blower/ heater fan turn on. I am getting battery voltage all the time at the plug in the engine bay that connects to the motor no matter what position the fan speed switch is in. I assume the fan speed switch sets the resistance in the circuit and when its in the off...
