Seeking advice for tire size on vintage Slot wheels

N50's work good on 10" wheels. They are too short for me. I always ran L 60's on 8" wheels.

center caps or not (looking for opinions)

Mopar has some slick looking dog dish caps. They need to be on body colored rims I think. No caps? The rims should be black and the lug nuts chrome. You can mix dog dish and trim rings for a more formal look.

American Racing wheels - hub centric or lug centric?

Nice, I have seen those before but they are not supplied by the wheel manufacturers. I sold wheels years ago at the speed shop and there were no hub adapters available or included.

I'm not from Missouri but you're going to have to show me that..(separate hub rings)

    Need traction suggestions

I know all that. I just laugh at the street guys that overbuild and then want more traction because they added 300 horsepower. You could run 14x32's and a 4 link and not hook on a city street. Street traction and Drag Strip traction are polar opposites.

Lack of traction? THat's what you get with 580 horse under the hood.

American Racing wheels - hub centric or lug centric?

Many (most) custom wheels are lug nut centric. Imaging how many different wheels the manufacturers would have to produce for all the hub sizes are available back to the 50's and beyond.

How I landed on 15 inch repro Road Wheels -- who knew they made them?

I Really like Magnum's. They remind me of the old Keystone Classics. But, there's nothing wrong with Rally's.

Cragar rims,Are they too far gone?

Oh sure, anything could be done if you have enough time and money. Common sense tells me that if a brass wire brush or some fine steel wool and some polish can't turn them into 10 footers, they are probably too far gone to fix. If you have your heart set on Cragar SS's they do make new ones. I'm...

Cragar rims,Are they too far gone?

Those are too far gone to be close to nice. The steel rims are pitted/rusty and the aluminum spokes are corroded.

Cragar rims,Are they too far gone?

    I don't think Ansen's were ever uni-lug

What wheels are on the car now?

Cragar rims,Are they too far gone?

They could be any brand for sure. The uni lug washers look like ET's. It really doesn't matter.
