Should I Snag any of These 77 Cordoba Parts?

For me, I'd want to cut the roof off and take every single piece I could for the sunroof. The 400 4bbl isn't bad either, though it's likely seized up from water getting inside

dual snorkel air filter housing for magnums?

Hmmm....well, I'm not an expert on this since I only owned one '77 Cordoba for comparison. Unless it's for a truck or something (???), I don't think that ebay air cleaner came off a 78-79. Those years would have the "lean burn" ignition system for sure like Pete's Magnum GT. I guess it's...

dual snorkel air filter housing for magnums?

I couldn't find those auction numbers on ebay. fyi-You get a lot more responses if you post links, or better yet, pictures. Make it as easy as possible for someone to answer your questions. I "thought" the dual snorkel air cleaners ended earlier...but a Dodge Magnum would be the type of...

    1979 Cordoba heater core access

Not really, the heater box has to come off & that's a little bit of pain in the you know what. The good news is once you have that box off, the heater core itself is like 4 small, easy screws & 2 hose clamps under the hood. You might want to consider adding some narrow window sealing foam tape...

    '79 'doba 8 1/4 rear swap

    1. I agree with Wile-E that swapping out the entire rear end for another used one is almost always the easiest and the cheapest. a. find a 8-1/4" that is the correct size (check online). This might be a good time to find one with different gears or posi-traction (aka sure grip). b. buy some new...

Press out UCA bushing instructions? Missing from 73 FSM!

This might help..... find a socket about the same size or slightly smaller than the outer metal on the upper control arm bushing. Set up your control arm in a large vise with the socket wedged against the bushing. Heat the outer part of the upper control arm with a torch (have good ventilation...

    Headers

I've only run about 6 sets of headers, but before they had any headers listed specifically for '77 Cordobas, I found that basic "'69 Road Runner" era b-body headers fit just fine, even with power steering, at least with the smaller (less than 2" primary tubes) with big blocks. I've run several...

Trans speedo cable O ring needed

Actually, those are all o-ring rubbers from o-ring manufacturers....check out the links. While it is true that the parts store have much fewer options AND it's also true that Viton will cover "most" automotive needs (+ HNBR for Air conditioning) you can get 2/3 of that list from McMaster-Carr...

Trans speedo cable O ring needed

Hey Rumble, I have to disagree with Kryslerkid on this one. All O-rings are not created equal. Just think of how many different "rubbers" that they're made of....NBR, HNBR, viton, Teflon, silicone, etc, etc. Krysler kid is correct on how you measure them however. How big/thick is the o-ring...

    Battery hold down needed......

I see. Maybe search craiglist, ebay & your local salvage yards? I still see some Cordobas from time to time in yards. I "think" the main thing to watch for is how wide your battery is (e.g. what "series" the battery is). You could just measure it with a tape measure if you want....maybe...

    Battery hold down needed......

IF it's not a "factory correct" car, then I suggest you just measure how wide your battery is & pull one from a Chrysler in the junk yard. If the two "J-hooks" are the wrong length (likely), then you can buy some generic ones at most auto parts stores & then just cut them down to length. I've...

Any love for 75-76 Fury 4 doors?

Yeah, it looks like the sheriff's car in Dukes of Hazard. I had one of those with a 318 up to 115mph maxed out....until the cops pulled me over.

    '79 Sensor Shock at Intake

Well, "the piece directly below the linkage"..... IF I'm looking at the correct part & correct linkage...... the 3" diameter "flying saucer" shaped part is an EGR valve which does not have any electrical connections. Not sure how you got shocked off of that part.
