Oh, it is... I was looking at the window. The roof line must be much like the 66-67. I think your window has two layers of glass bonded with a plastic film between. When tempered goes, the pieces don't stick together. There may be a US law about front and rear windshields having to be...
My TA had laminate, but yours must require tempered glass. The shop I called has been in existence since the 1960s. They had stacks of patterns and a 66 coronet rear windshield shouldn't be as rare as a TA. Station wagon rear windows tend to get broken, so I expect the shop will have a...
I called a local glass place. He said he thought it should be a flat, tempered piece of glass, not a laminate. He thought it would come in at about $150.
I'm surprised you can't find a glass shop local to you to make the piece of glass.
My tinted Travelall rear windshield broke. It is flat, laminated glass (I think all are). Had it made at the local shop for $100. The tint was just like original
When I was a kid, a neighbor set a stack of old car magazines on his garbage rack. I remember one fact about one car I read of, was a 57 dodge with the Sonoramic. When they tested it, they had 4 reporters in the car and it did 0-30 in 2.8 seconds.
I forgot to say: no modifications are needed, other than removing the two studs for the lid. My air cleaner uses a different fastening method. Nothing needs to be installed, it will just sit there without fastening.
I made an air cleaner for my Dodge and I think it might be something that would sell. Maybe not, but that's okay, I built it for me and I'll use it. Beyond that, it's all fun. Living in the boonies, there are no 6 pack cars around here to test fit and I think it would be good to see what it...
I want to take some measurements of a B Body with RB long block in place. I have an intake, carb, and air cleaner assembly built for a Cee Body and I want to see with my own eyes that they will fit before proceeding with my project. I want to set the assembly on a long block and put balls of...
Everywhere, apparently. I was looking for one also. I wrote it off as when they get enough orders, Edelbrock tools up. Figured I would wait for that day.
Thanks BP,
I have an outboard 6 Pack carb. It's a good carb, or I would experiment on it. I'd buy a whole 6 Pack outboard carb that is not rebuildable if I could.
Need one for a mock up that I will grind and sand to make fit. So stripped threads, crack, or corrosion will work fine. Don't need the float or small parts, just the bowl.
