    72 Dodge Charger Rallye Restoration

As for N96....electric switch I believe & I think there will be a "template" behind the dash showing exactly where the switch goes (that way on a 70 roadrunner anyway). I "think" I've seen an "add on" kit you can buy to install it on a standard hood. Air cleaner should be the same as 70+...

trying to figure this thing out

If you've got plenty of cash, Strange rear ends are a good choice. Otherwise, you could probably just put in a rebuilt center section with the gears of your choice, couple bearings and seals, and you'd be good. Upgrade with Strange axles if you're making a lot of horsepower, but probably not...

    A-833 trans removal 70 roadrunner

Maybe that's a stamp from a rebuild? The number should match the last numbers of your VIN tag on the dash of your car. I like Fran Blacker's idea about the bolts, but I just use 2-3 different length bolts during installation. You're just holding the weight of the transmission while you shove...

Holley carb on my spread bore 440 manifold.

Put a piece of plastic wrap on your air cleaner. Put a big hunk of clay or play dough on top of the clay & put a 2nd piece of plastic wrap on top of the clay. Close the hood. Open the hood & measure how much of the clay is not smooshed. This will tell you how much air cleaner to hood...

Your car's body is in GREAT shape and your engine ideas sound really good too. Does it have an 8-3/4" rear end?

    Production numbers

Well, the best numbers I've seen over the years are 824 '70 Roadrunner convertibles. I believe 800 383's, 21 440 six packs and 3 hemis (no hemi cars known to exist & I've seen maybe 3 six pack cars). Roughly 620 of the 383's were automatics. I also believe that most of these cars did NOT have...

Hello, great to be here. I have a 1965 Plymouth Satellite, pretty solid but lacking a hood.

Look in the parts for sale & parting out section here on this website & you will most likely find a hood. Welcome!
