    All of the TFs I have rebuilt in the last 50+ years use the same pivot shaft (not counting the extra groove). I always use one o-ring per shaft regardless of groove count and have never had one leak. Rubber just gets hard with age, unlike old guys! Mike

    If you are worried about using plastic line, don't . It has been supplied for many decades with oil pressure gauges. But, if you seal the gauge end you could run the tubing through a rubber hose sleeve and through the firewall. Any leakage will run out to the ground. Mike
