You will find a ton of uses for it. We have a similar one at the shop with 2 spare batteries, monday when I'm back there I will get you a 3m part # for replacement polishing pads. When buffing on a cars finish these will fit many areas the large buffer will not. Not near the chance for burn...

Height needed for 4 post lift

14 ' is as low as I would go if just planning a new building. Yes 12' will work but 14 is better if you ever lift a 4x4 pickup ect. We use ours for all kinds of projects lol.

Going to a 4 post Advantage lift.

Yes , you have to lower it to a safe height and make sure the floor is swept. We have had it for years. It has been a real work horse.

Snook here is our two lifts. The bendpak 9000 4 post is just great. We have a slide air jack on it also. Little bit of maintenance each 6 mo. Oil the cables and grease it. our old Unic 4500 we still use it also , very mobile with a car on it. You will be glad you got a drive on.

Transmission jacks for a lift suggestions.

What we do is roll our matco roller box under the hoist . Walker floor model trans jack sitting on top of the tool box with trans on it. Depending on box brand and trans jack brand you may have to raise or lower the lift a little. When we are real lazy we toss a couple 6x6 blocks on top of the...

Careful with the pine sol , simple green and similar cleaners , most will change the aluminum color to a dark shade.

    Question for the construction guys.

Thanks guys, I had not thought of wrapping it 1st. Or the fan fold. That's the kind of info I needed. This garage was built in the early 70s , I bought it 20 years ago off another lot and moved it to our place. I have kept it painted but that masonite is showing its age, time to update it...

    Question for the construction guys.

My 24x24 garage at home has the old masonite siding. It's time to do something with it. My idea is 29 gauge white steel at $2.60 lin.ft. For now the roof is fine shingled 9 yrs. ago. I'm wanting to just go right over the masonite with horizontal 1x6s top to bottom 2 ft. Spaceing ,screwed into...

    Carb cleaning

Like Ed , I prefer brake clean for just a clean up inside and out of a in use carb needing a kit. A carb that has set or one that is varnished. I still prefer to soak them a couple days tore down in the basket. Napa carb soak or chem dip.
