    One thing you might check, is the right speedometer gear being used for the 3:23 rear and tire diameter. That could throw your calculations off.

    They pop up now and then. Look for West Coast cars or dry climate areas. Found this one that's originally from Oregon. I'm still enjoying it!

    If I'm reading that vin # correctly 162883 it's listed in Darrell Davis's Dodge 413 book. Super Stock engine 11-1 three speed transmission. No radio, no heater, Black tires, Clear glass, PP1 paint (Red), shipping date 6-June. Nice car:thumbsup:

    Thanks for the update :thumbsup: I'm not getting the whole thing about using a battery tender. The only time I found the need for one was on my Harley that had a jell battery. It would loose charge in a couple of weeks. I have an Exide in my '62 and it's a three year battery going on five...

    62 Fury - Advise on 413, 426 Wedge or 440

    The 440 is much easier to find rebuilding parts for than the 413/426. Build the 440 and dress it up as a 413 Max Wedge. Hundreds have done it.

    Yeah in today's market you have to be quick on getting a good buy but cautious at the same time. I've always said if it's ment to be it will work out.
