My second thought is the steering box mount on the K frame is cocked in relation to the rest of the car, Try shimming the box more in line with the frame and see where things line up with the steering wheel centered and the tie...
Pull the header off and trim the flange down on the header.... What heads are those? never seen a step like that..
Or, use it as an excuse for buying a set of aluminum heads... :lol:

That puller works on P/S pullies and single groove alternator pullies but the double groove alternator has the hub recessed and that puller is to bulky to reach down in the recess to grab the hub...

Actually you can grab the wire with bare hands.. Just don't let any other part of your body come in contact with any part of the car... As long as you don't provide a path back to the car you aren't completing the circuit...
They certainly use to be... These days they are catching up... I always thought of them as drivers or if in rough shape parts cars... These days people are paying a lot of $$$ for a decent one... And sometimes for a perfumed pig...
Try to remember... It actually works & doesn't smell to bad... I often do a double dose... Pour some on, work it in then wait ten minutes & do it again... Skin on my hands rarely cracks anymore....
