The rear fenderwells in trunk were cut and spread slightly on the inside by the
rear fender where it does not show from anywhere. You have to
put you finger down between the fendwells and inside of the fenders.
I doubt that it was every changed unless you had a tech that was tipped
off about it.
Darcy with two of the red Plymouths just beat me by .01
in Phoenix. He treed me and drove a good race!
He is a friend of mine and if he let me inspect
his car I would how if it was my old car. Most Stock/SS racer
will not appreciate you looking at their cars and I hate to ask.
Trivia = Mr Norm special order a bunch of 1966 Dodge Coronets
with the 426/365 Street Wedge and the were produced.
However, they are not NHRA class legas as the only produced about
a 100 of them iif my elderly memory serves. They needed 500 back then to

Correct on equipment!
As I recall from 60 years ago it had a bolt on Front Sway bar
rather the mounting to the control arms.

I have several friends that still race them in Class in stock today.
3310 Holley works well on a 383 as it is a versatile
carb for many different applications.
I have also in the 60/70s seen a nice improvement with
a 440 AVS which has 11/16 primaries. These bolt
on your stock (301) intake and together work nearly
as well as aftermarket manifolds and Holleys on...
His Buddy Randy Bursell who also had a Superstreet
Wheel Standing Big Block White Duster passed last year. They
raced against each othert in many final rounds. One
of the toughest guy I knew back in the 60's. You could
hit him 10 times to every time he hit you and you would
want to quit before...
Elongate the bolt holes in the manifold if needed although
milling the manifold is a better solution. Use a piece of wire or
coat hanger to be sure ports are aligned especially the very top
to the heads.
If it was a B Manifold you could put your fingers between the manifold
and the heads.
