    Thanks! The wheel I want comes in a 17x9.5 with 5.5 backspace. I get a tiny bit of rub over Certain dips with my 275/60r15. I have a 255/50/17 planned for the front on a 17x8. What’s your fronts?

    What I really wanted was 275/50/17 for the back but there is only one tire that comes in that size and it’s on perpetual backorder.

    Honestly just trying to get the right overall diameter and trying to avoid the side wall being too low profile. The type of tires you can get in 17”sizes are far superior to the 15” options.

    Would the short have to be somewhere between alternator and starter relay or could it be anywhere? Battery to starter relay? Relay to starter? If the alternator wasn’t grounding through it’s case to the motor well could this cause the problem?
