Pull the flywheel inspection cover and see what's wet in there if it is. Torque converter seal might be leaking. Is the fluid red or reddish?

Type F. Ford trans fluid. Get the cheap stuff at Wal-Mart when they have it in stock. I've found it goes pretty quick there.
