Here's a tip. When working around the rear window, cut a piece of plywood and lay it on a blanket on the Dutchman panel. After painting my car I dented mine with my elbows and or knees while putting the rear window trim on.
Great work as usual! Good to see you finishing it up. I'd consider installing the trim yourself unless you're confident with the noel guys.. Easy to scratch paint putting it on. Also, I dented my Dutchman panel with my elbows while working on the rear window. I removed the trunk lid and I was...
I have only got about 2k miles on it now, after 3 years of cruise ins and car shows. I love driving it but not in a lot of traffic. It really feels good and everything works great on it. It reminds me of my go-kart racing days the way it handles turns. The super sticky M/T tires and stiff...
It does sound good. Too bad that's not the real audio. The guy that made that video changed it to an open header car. When I put in my 500hp motor I'll put some cutouts on it. Never have cranked it with open headers except for a few short times in my garage when first getting it running.
Well I got lazy and didn't do my annual new years post but it's been 10 years since I got the charger and things are still good with me and it. Just trying to make it thru the boring winter and looking forward to some good cruising, cruise-ins and car shows in 2023. Happy New Year everyone!
I had planned on doing that mod and talked with crackedback about it but now I'm thinking that the led's load will be less and the mod won't be needed. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. And I also want the leds because they have a 1' lead which will help where I have hidden my headlight wiring.
My charger is still running great. Hardly any maintenance at all. Enjoying watching the value go up on it lately. I saw one go across the Barrett Jackson block that wasn't any better than mine for $120k. Restomods and customs are selling better than stockers... I've been going to car gatherings...
I've been wanting to do this for awhile and finally did it. I had a screen custom made to fit in front of my radiator. I got it for 2 reasons, 1- to keep out bugs, rocks, leaves, etc., and 2- to help hide the silver radiator since the screen is dark colored. It is held in place with velcro so I...
I have been posting every new years eve but fell asleep last night, ha.. I'm 66 now and it's been 9 years since my first post. Charger's running and driving great. Hope things will get better for us all in 2022 and this covid crap will go away. Happy New Year everyone!
I fixed an oil leak that had been bugging me. I bought what I thought were really good valve cover gaskets and found that they are not. I've used these solid rubber metal core ones before but only on chevy's that I had. They worked great on the chevys, but I think that there might be a...
