How often should the bronze gear be inspected? I have read that the melanized gear should not be used on any used cam, only brand new. Any experience from racers? Thanks!

Final update: Well, once again it was my fault. I swapped the 2 leads I had crossed earlier but, I really didn't. DUH! Now the wipers function fine. Human error.
I was so dreading pulling the wiper motor that it was affecting my diagnose.

Update: I crossed the pink (now red) with the F-1 red so, I was feeding the switch backwards. Fixed that, now: no high speed or park so I'll work on those issues, after lunch!

When I leave the site I find a window open about a 65 426 Plymouth for sale. I did check it out last week but, I haven't since. Can you shed some light on this situation?
Thanks!
Mike
I fully understand the reasons for the minimum hose rule. Any tiny length of hose can pose a risk. How many tens of millions of cars and trucks came out of Detroit with hoses? Evidently the need for vibration elimination overrules the risk :).

Carter makes a economically priced pump with filter that I installed on my 65 Coronet-stock, for that very situation. Works well.

I have a set of the Miller OEM spanners but, I seldom use them at once. I too have a lathe and it is really indispensable in a good shop. I thought about a mill but, have a couple friends with them-so.
