The crank on my driver's window is overall mint but the knob is floppy. I tried to peen the back to no avail so wondering what do you guys do to fix this??

Yep the switch I bought from Dales would eventually open the trap door so one day I spent some time on it. I found that it was leaking bad in open position but would close quickly. If you pushed the lever a slight bit back toward close the door would open right up. Best I can tell it is moving...
Yes never seen side to side layout. The rear section gets laid first and the front section overlaps the rear section, no other proper way. The heel pad should spell a starting location for you and then adjust a little here and there.

The woodgrain is on a metal backing. That backing has small tabs that go though the plastic bezels and folded over.
So if your adding woodgrain to your bezels you have to cut/dremell small slots into the plastic bezel for the tabs to go though.

You can modify your dash Black plastic pieces to accept the woodgrain or you can buy everything from BE+A but it is very expensive and his woodgrain is really too light for a 70 and when I spoke to Mike about it he was like "everyone seems to like it ".

Don't know about a Charger but on a 70 GTX there are two small clips that screw in toward the trunk behind backseat and they are "L" shaped so they catch the front edge of package tray to help hold down flat.
