You guys are HILARIOUS!!! Thanks though. Since it's cold here I didn't turn on the air to see if that did anything. Thanks again. Im sure I'll be posting a few more "what's this" type of posts.
I have a 69 Coronet 440 sedan. I was going over the car getting familiar with it and came across this switch. There are no words on it. I have no idea what it is.
Are there any split benches that do recline? I want to replace my bench for a split bench so that I can recline a little. I l pushed the bench all the way back but I still feel too close to the steering wheel. I'm 6' 250lbs. If there aren't any factory seats that do, are there any...
Hey guys, I have a 69 Coronet Sedan and the front seat is a bench.
1 - Is it safe to assume that the split bench will bolt up in my car the same as my bench? My thought is technically the bottom frame should be the same because only the top part (back) is split.
2 - On the split bench, do...
The motors may be the same, but the lifts for the windows are smaller because they don't have to travel as far. At least it looks that way for every 4 window coupe setup I came across.
Actually.... just found something that looks simple enough. It looks like it'll get the job done.
AutoLoc Power Accessories AUTPW4654 4-Door Universal Power Window Kit with 7 Switches
If you key in that part number in Summit, they have the same kit for an extra $150 (not sure why).
Hey fellas, I was just wondering if anyone knows of a company that makes a power window conversion kit for my '69 Coronet Sedan? Yes I bought the sedan, get over it..... Of course I see window kits for 2 doors that have the smaller manual windows in the back. I don't think that will work...
Hey fellas. I'm still fairly new to the site so I hope this is in the right place.
I finally picked up my '69 Coronet 440 Sedan. The 318 seems a little tired and blowing blue smoke. I'm hoping it's just because it hasn't been driven in a while. Plus it's a TN car and now it's up here in...
Whew!! I think they're a bit more than what I was looking for. After reading everyone's suggestions, I think the 318 with a little massaging will be just fine for cruise runs.
The color itself is nice. The paint job itself is not the best. So instead of painting it, I can save a few thousand and wrap it. Use the savings elsewhere.
It's a 10ft paint job from 2 owners ago. Wrapping will be cheaper than painting. If I want to change it at any time I can without it costing too much. But i do like the color so it'll still be close.
Wow. I want to thank you all for your input. I'm not a secret millionaire or a 16 year old newbie. I chose 69 because it was the year I was born. I refuse to pay the inflated prices on a Charger. I should have gotten one a few years ago before they blew up. I looked at other Mopars from 69...
I searched but couldn't find a thread where this is discussed. Sorry if I missed it.
I just bought a 1969 Coronet 440 4 dr with a 318. Im thinking of going a few different ways and would like some input on what you guys think. I won't be doing any racing (strip or track). I want to have a nice...
