This has happened to me a couple time. Once a fuse, parking lights and dash are connected. The second was a bad connection I back of fuse box under dash. I'd suggest checking the fuse then seeing if the wire to the back of the fuse box is loose.

On the starter relay there are 2 red wires with this set up. I thought the red wire with the fusible link went to the ammeter, is that wrong? I also thought there was only one red wire from the starter relay with the stock set up.
I have the shop manual at home...
