Ok I cleaned up the temp sender that was on the car. Did an Ohm test and it’s at 248 cold out of the car. If I put this back in the car tomorrow and the gauge still doesn’t work then what direction should I go?

Looks like e brake switch. I just went through this with my 68. No one makes a switch anymore that I found. Happened to find one at the Detroit Mopar swap meet. Maybe find a parts car someone is going to get rid of. Mopar used this switch for many years.
Yes I seen where someone suggested to turn the tone bolt and I tried that on both horns. Also seen someone suggested to try contact cleaner in that same hole after removing that small bolt. Neither of those worked for me. Yes I first started with jumper leads right off the battery
I called FBO today and ordered one. When I was looking around on eBay some of the descriptions stated that the regulator would need to be turned upside down for some B bodies.
I have a 68 Charger and would like to upgrade the voltage regulator. It had a mechanical factory regulator and would like to upgrade to a factory looking regulator but not a mechanical style. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Looking for suggestions of where to purchase a new engine wiring harness. I don’t like all the splicing and hacked up harness on the car I just purchased. Also does anyone know if an A/C car would have a different harness? Also need a place to get original battery cables. Thank you

Are most mopar alternators and voltage regulators compatible/interchangeable ? I need to take this alternator off when I was looking at the back of it it looked like it had 3 tabs on it plus the stud for the bigger wire.
