Hey guys - The white plastic blocks that slide on the spring bars which the trunk lid rides on - Is there a clip/cap that goes on the end of the spring bar to keep the white block from sliding off? (Not called a spring bar, but its what makes the lid fly open, hence the name LOL)

The body shop wants to paint the fenders and doors seperate, then hang them on the car. Doesn't all of the hardware get a coat of paint? If they paint things independent, then hang them the bolts will require another coat. All of the hardware has been tumbled clean. Thoughts? Rusty
