    replacing headers on 361 engine

It was giving me options. They would fit RB but not B. That's why I was asking what I had. I guess I'm the one that's not mechanically inclined. Haha.

    replacing headers on 361 engine

Good deal. Are we talking stock manifolds? I have considered that as well. With it being a B block, the headers I was looking at will not fit anyway.

    replacing headers on 361 engine

I'm looking at buying some blockhugger headers to replace the huge Hooker Headers that are on there now. Question is, they are asking if the engine is a Mopar big block "B" or "RB". Can someone tell me which I have? 1963 Sport Fury, 361 engine. I will probably have to cut the old ones out since...

    replacing headers on 361 engine

Thanks for the reply. i wouldn't care to keep the headers if I can get the old starter out. I still haven't figured that out yet. I have it loose but no way to get it from behind the headers. It would be a lot of work to change everything out plus I do not have a garage to work in so...

    replacing headers on 361 engine

Starter went out on my '63 Sport Fury so I get under to take it off only to find that it is caged in by the headers the previous owner installed. Absolutely no way to get it out unless removing the headers. So, I am in search of stock manifolds that will fit a 361 engine. I don't like the...

    Dead fury

Well that didn't take long. Thought it may have been the resistor, which was broken, but the ignition wire going to the starter got against the headers and burned in half. At least it isn't serious. Replaced the resistor too. Thanks for reading.

    Speedometer conversion

My 63 Fury came with 14 inch wheels and the previous owner installed disc brakes on the front and had to change over to 15 inch wheels. Of course my speedometer now it's not correct. Is there a gear I can buy to correct it or some other way to correct the problem? Any advice is truly...

    727 Tranny linkage

The auto tranny in my '63 Fury doesnt seem to want to shift into the last gear. Goes from low to second but thats it. Is there something on the linkage I can adjust to comlpete the shifting? This has a floor shift for now until I can swap trannys back to push button. Tranny is a '65 model.

    1963 Sport Fury Brakes update

Well, the M/C does have two reservoirs. Discs on the front. It was bench bled and all bleeders are in top position.I have probably went through a gallon of fluid bleeding these. I've installed brakes for years so I've tried to do everything by the book. Never have I had a problem like this. I'm...

    1963 Sport Fury Brakes update

Well after several weeks of working on these brakes, all new parts, three master cylinders, I still have no brakes. They will pump up to about half pedal and hold. Then when I try again in just a few minutes it is all the way to the floor. I have no idea what to do next. Any suggestions?

    63 Fury master cylinder

After researching my current master cylinder, I found out that it has a 1-inch bore. Should this be sufficient or should I look for something larger?

    63 Fury master cylinder

Wow. That could be my problem. They are for a 76 Valiant. One piston. I have bled the brakes numerous times. If I pump them I can get a small amount of pedal but, in just a few minutes it is gone. Thanks for the advice. I will need to look for a different MC. The new one I just put on is for a...

    63 Fury master cylinder

My 63 Sport Fury has had disc brakes installed on the front by the previous owner. I'm needing to replace the master cylinder. It does have power brakes. Can someone help me in selecting the correct master cylinder. I replaced it once using one listed for a 76 Valiant but it will not hold...

    '63 Sport Fury master cylinder

My '63 Fury has power brakes with disc on the front and drum on the back. I was wondering if someone can tell me the proper master cylinder to put on this car. Do they have a different stroke length? I installed one for a '76 Valiant and I still have no pedal. Looking at one for '68 Fury...

Still no brakes! Losing my mind.

This may come through twice. Thought I sent one a few minutes ago but I don't see it. I should probably get one with the metering valve for the front discs? Articles I've read say it's a necessity. Thanks for your research. I really appreciate it. I will keep you informed of the results. Bill

Still no brakes! Losing my mind.

Wow. Your putting some time in on this. I really appreciate it. I don't care a bit to replace it. Hopefully it will take care of the problem. Think I should get one with a metering valve for the front discs? Things I've read say it's a necessity with the front discs. A bit pricey but what...
