    Oil Pump Prime Procedure

You can take the plug out of the passenger side oil gallery at the back of the block, and plumb in a mechanical pressure gauge. As already said, the primer drill needs to run CCW for a big block. I had major problems getting my 440 to prime last year. It eventually turned out to be crappy Fram...

    Lighting issues

Bad grounds can do weird things. Assuming running lights are your headlights? Taillights your brake lights? I sometimes have issues with my boat trailer. Headlights or parking lights on and I have had the taillights on the trailer work and then I would put my foot on the brake pedal and the...

    Oil Pump Prime Procedure

Feel the oil filter now and you can compress it slightly. When priming the pressure will make the oil filter hard and not it won't compress any more. Also the drill will change sound and no go quite as fast when it makes oil pressure. unless you have a strong drill it won't change at all...

    727 rising fluid level

Ok...new update. And maybe Doug can chime in. @dvw Talked with transgo yesterday and as this VB was monkeyed with, a TF-2 was a good idea. Transgo support said as the line bypass had nothing in the hole, that most likely was the problem. He said there has to be at least a spring and check ball...

How about just a random picture. NOT the entire car

You can’t hide the lack of radiator, engine, transmission… It looks a bunch better with the grille even though it is bent a bit.

What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

Well I wasn't going the push 2" pipes into the bottom, thru rocks, with my hands! As for the loading ramps, here when I bought the place 21 years ago. Needed something at shore and remembered I had a metal truss thing my wood chipper came bolted to. What were the chances it was the EXACT width!
