Thanks, I appreciate the help. I tried adapting a 3.5mm MP3 player output to the RCA inputs on an amp but that didn't work out. Probably a mismatch on the impedances.
I would think either would fit on top of your console, though you have have to drill / cut the right openings in the forward top plate if you were so inclined. You'd have to move your oil / water gauge though.
I have a question about your radio. I have a 66 Satellite and I'd like to have...
Thanks for the reply. Unfortnately, the ebay listing has ended so I can't see a picture. Would you be willing to tell me the pioneer model number or pm a picture of your install to me? I also saw a link of how to install a stereo in the glove box. I'm leaning towards either of these solutions...
What's the best option for a reasonably priced stereo upgrade for a 66-67 B-Body? I don't mind cutting the dash because I don't have an original Mopar radio and a previous owner cut a huge hole in the dash above the radio for who knows what. I see my coices as modern DIN style, a RetroSound...
Ron Francis sells three styles, probably $55 - $60 now. It splices into your turn signal wiring. Probably others like Kwik-Wire, Haywire, American Autowire might have something as well. I made my own because I'm cheap and like a challenge. Works great. I'm glad I added this especially after...
I tried these, they didn't work out too well for me so I went back to regular 1157's. I thought I had the right flasher. Maybe the LED bulbs were low quality. Good luck!
Looks like the door could use new hinge bushings / re-alignment. I re-positioned the striker, works for now. Gotta make sure I get the striker bolts tight so that it doesn't move inward!
Thanks!
The driver's side door on my 1966 Satellite will only latch shut occassionally. It appears that if I rotate the star wheel on the door mechanism to a certain position, the door will latch shut. Otherwise it doesn't latch or it bounces open. The passenger door works fine and I can't see a...

The brackets have machined flats so that means I need slider type calipers. That's good. Now I need to measure the brackets to make sure I can use 11.75" rotors. I have 15" police wheels so the larger rotors should work.
What are the copper washers - can I get them at my local NAPA store?
I have the caliper brackets, but no calipers so I don't know about pin or slider type. I think the '79 Volare used sliders. Can I tell by looking at the caliper brackets?
OK, I admit to being a noob when it comes to a disc brake upgrade. I want to upgrade to power disc brakes in my 66 Satellite that has manual drums. I have spindles from a 1979 Volare. I understand the change in spindle height, which doesn't concern me and the major components of the swap...
Anyone use a Painless, Ron Francis or similar wiring harness to re-wire your car? If so, how didi you make the connections to the turn signal switch and instrument cluster circuit board? I'd rather use new terminals than cut pigtails out of the old harness and solder/splice the new wires to...
