I would consult someone in your area. We have plenty of insulation companies in this area, but our climate is substantially different. I went with R-19 bat insulation on my walls covered with a poly vapor barrier and OSB sheeting inside.
Mine have been in operation for at least 5 years now. The pump failed and I burnt up the cable so just ordered a new torch to put on my new water cooler. You need to buy the torches with braided rubber lines and keep a cover over them if you want it to last. The cheap vinyl hoses are garbage.
I was in that area for Midwest Drags but the deer strike pretty much ended that week, lol. I’ve had it on a local dyno and made 1180 at 19psi. Didn’t really push it hard. It’s a non-intercooled, small cam 540 with Gen1 Billet wheel Precision 7675S. I’m not sure it’ll make much more without 60psi...
The confusion is the ground. You can get 10-3 or 10-2 w/ground and they both have 3 conductors. You must’ve had 10-3w/g. Shop looks great by the way. What dyno did you get?
My buddy just had a decklid blasted with glass and the paint guy told him to DA sand the whole thing because it was too coarse. Any truth to that or just preference? I’ve never blasted with anything other than silica sand way back in the day.
I have a Weller pencil iron and the gun. For almost all automotive stuff, you can get it with a gun. I also have a resistance soldering station for delicate stuff.
If I had a selfie stick, I’d do a personal shop tour and explain a bunch of things, lol. I didn’t even show the bathroom, heating system or engine room cuz the place is trashed. I really wish I had those nice floors you did! I’d have to grind mine to do it at this point.
