So a call to 440Source confirms that the chain used on my part (114-1001) is SA Gear, and made in US. Rollers are fully machined, not split seamed. Even found a video on Youtube comparing the SA to Iwis chain.

I spoke w American Powertrain today and they confirmed this. On a 4 speed car, cover the existing hole, add new one. Question- is the “off set” of the linkage above or below tunnel? No console in my car so I’m wondering how this would look. Debating what to do for an upgrade of a 23 spline.

The 440 source heads are my first choice but they have no ETA for availability. Could be months, even more. The TF has an estimated date; which is really the driving factor for its selection- finding something in stock! ( or hopefully by Spring). Appreciate the details on the cam- I’ll compare...
