do you have a close up shot of the top of the door leading back? It looks like you shaved the trim lip and welded it shut. We are doing that real soon and it would be nice to see how it looks done.
This car project is not dead yet by any stretch. its a long haul as I have been working on other cars and a man cave to boot. The good news is that it now has all of its floors installed and they are fully complete which cost about $1700USD in labor and another grand in parts. I learned that...

Am I to assume that this is a rare thing to come by?

I have a vintage photo that looks like a 66-67 charger, but I do not think it is. It appears to say Charger on the emblem, but I am not believing it. This is a photo from New Zealand sometime in the 70s or 80s.
Any identification help is much appreciated.
I broke a intake manifold bolt. It was the last bolt on the install and I over torqued it or the bolt was too old. Had to remove everything and spin it out with a screwdriver. Cleaning off the liquid gasket was no fun either. That stuff stays on your hands for a week.
I hate being under any car that is not sitting on the tires. Call me paranoid, but I just get scared about the car falling on me. The last job I did was to change the front and rear tranny seals. We had to put the car up on both ends see saw style and throw under 4 jack stands. I added the two...
This is going to take forever. I went and located a right floor pan and had it blasted. The floor pan needs a floor pan. lol. The rust was so deep in one spot that I have to cut a small section from the pan. I have not yet located the left pan. The right one is a full pan front to back.
I...
My 3 giant cement playground turtles are not for sale. ;-)
Update:
Still working on the green primer. My new devilbliss gun arrived and I like it a lot better. It was weird at first as its very fast compared to the kobalt gun. I think this is how it is supposed to be.
I have painted all the...
I just ordered a DeVilbliss 3 with 4 heads for $220. I think that will improve my situation without having to outlay big cash to get the job done. I aim to get by on this low cost gun for a while longer. Now I have to wait for UPS to deliver with ground shipping while I return the piece of ****...
New years update:
I just (finally) put the car into 2580CR to keep the bare metal from rusting.
The weather was not favorable for the last few days, but since I could keep it in my warehouse for the time it was bare it did not rust.
Here is what I learned painting at this level for the first...
8k would be OK. I wish you still had yours for sale. I think I am going to pass on this one due to the rust issues.
If anyone is interested I will pass on the seller data. I recently found another '66 charger that I was considering along with this one. I am going to try and pick up the charger...
Feel free to say whatever you want. I would not be offended.
They are asking $10,500 USD.
I do not know what the condition of the inside panels are. So far all I know is the rear frame rails and deck lid have rust and there is a bubble under the paint behind the door. I am not a fan of the...
