100% match to the seats in my 78 Charger. I knew I saw them in something, it just took a while to remember witch one in the fleet it was.

The two years from new to when it was "purchased in Wethersfield CT. In 1981" is plenty of time to have an owner wreck a seat or two and have a dealership change them out. Or maybe another Magnum on the lot was supposed to come with leather but got made wrong and quick swap was the easiest way...

That is true up until 74. 75 was a change to that (C-bodies might have got the dual snorkel for another year, but I've never had one so I can't say for sure). And as a car labeled for export normal rules do not apply,

What? What on earth makes you think is an N code? If the HP pie plate wasn't still there it'd look the same if it was M, N or P in those pictures.

That's the most I've seen of my 78 Sport Fury sense early December! It'll be at least a few months before I can see all of it for sure. At one point even the CB antenna was totally covered. The drift I'm standing on is a foot or two above that roof, and that's average snow depth in the back yard...
