That bracket installs on the lower shock absorber attachment bolt and provides the attachment point for the bar end links. You might want longer lower shock bolts too. My 65 install with similar angle brackets just barely had enough thread to hold the nut locking portion.
I think you might be able to cut the corners back more on the strut bushing brackets. And/or heat the K member area with a torch and smash it back for more clearance. As another option-the bushing bracket could be cut off at the top (down to end of bolt slot) and welded together. It should be...
