glad to hear Benno . From what I have seen you may want Diamondback to put a blow off valve or 2 in the Indy manifold , I have seen a few pics of these semi crossram manifolds exploding . DVW on here I think had one go up .
Cam well if you are honest to Damon you will get what you want . For...
open plenum pic shows insert fitted
to sort jetting using graph don't worry about springs initially .
OK . Your primary jetting ( .83 jet/6552 rod ) shows at ref #11 which would indicate 2 stages leaner than stock calibration on cruise mode . Stock setting is 0.086 jet with 6552 rod , so I...
Benno , this normally will indicate a lean mixture . Using your Eddy instruction book , jetting increase graph , step your cruise mixture up .
Good to see you getting closer , I don't see the carbs as the biggest issue if at all you do have a potential 1000cfm . I do have a mildy modified...
try this - http://www.summitracing.com/parts/atm-3370/overview/
very simple fit up , uses a bosch afr sensor - can buy replacement at Repco etc
does not come with a mount cup/bracket . Does have weld in bung and screw in plug .With a dual plane you will often find it very hard to get both...
my understanding is the 500 and 600 eddies are the same carb venturi / throttle butterfly - the 500 booster cluster is different size and takes up / restricts the air flow , as you have 500's I would set them at 1:1 at least to start with though I see no reason it can't be tuned to run...
pump gas 98 octane haha
we try to keep the riffraff and smart alecs out .
it's $6.70 for a US gallon for premium 98 at the moment
I won't put the piss on - but I might take the piss out of you lol
as long as the carbs are jetted right won't be a problem on progressive...
earlier timing will not affect cam.
Bringing in timing early will help promote burn especially on a non stock cam, normally helps power . Get the most initial you can , probably about 18 will do to start then add total say 18 to 20 mechanical , you now have 36-38 total . Set your curve for all...
just an aside IMHO . The cam you have is small when seen from a stroker motor , I ran a 248@050 hyd in my 440ci motor - its kind of big there . Your motor is more than 10% bigger than mine but you have similar duration .
the dual quads are not a problem , I have used a dual quad...
