The 187 in my 64 works. Pretty much the same as the 699 pan I have hanging on the wall.

Sounds like the carb. What type and size is it? Maybe the accelerator pump is set wrong or jets are not right.
@friendofvirgil sells a kit. I went to a place that sells gears etc and matched up o-rings for my cables.
I bought a 63 rear with the intention of rebuilding and installing in my 64 because it is narrower than the 70 rear I'm currently using.

Do you happen to have a part number for the kit? Their website does not list a conversion kit for early B's, at least not for a 64 Dodge.

You may run into interference with the oil pan and Kframe depending on the oil pan you have.
