Google said , a 7 blade fan will move more air than a 5 blade fan of the same pitch and diameter and rpm. But the 7 blade fan has more drag. Meaning more energy required to turn it.
And crop duster and cargo aircraft have more blades on their engines.
Do NOT put LED "conversion bulbs" in an old school light assembly.
When you have a bulb, the light exits the bulb in a 360 degree field, and it bounces off the reflector in the light assembly. What you see from outside isn't the 3/4" light bulb...but the reflection of that bulb in the 20...
Running a solid mount on the left...and rubber/poly on the right and trans...DOES NOT add any significant vibration or noise. That has been my opinion and practice since it was first shared with me in 1991. But what it does do, is increase the strength and stability of the entire drive train...
Long story short, if you're not worried about all out horsepower then use the fan clutch and factory style blade. If you want maximum power savings than use brushless fan with variable speed controller. cheers
Looking at that picture....proper adjustment looks unattainable. I'd call Brewers or Passon with the numbers on the levers or atleast measurments and the shift "levers" (the little bolt onto tranny sheetmetal squares) ...and the shifter part number. See what they recommend.
My WAG is a new...
Usually you wont need anything.... sometimes when i need to back a racecar on the lift, i will takealong a telescoping round mirror (kinda like a selfie stick) with me, so i can scope my wheels as i go.
Damn, sorry to see that and glad your ok.
Just thinking here but I would not think you should have to hunt down parts.
That should be the insurance companies job. That and the fact you can use any shop you choose for the work.
They did a fan clutch test in that video and it still lost a good amount of power but it was better than all the other fixed fans. Yes, almost all new fans of today are brushless which draw a lot less amperage and they are controlled so used at different voltage percentages based on temperature...
Hey everyone I'm a new member, let me tell you about my 67 charger that makes me sick to part with it.
67 charger original 383 2 bbl a/c and column shifted auto.
I have owned the car since 1980 since I have driven it many years but I think it's been about 7 years maybe since I last drove it...
