Model does make a difference. Are you working on a Satellite/Road Runner and what year specifically? We need that information. That info should have been in your first post.

Feeling them off should be sufficient lol. If they are dried out, it won't give an accurate reading.

    Power Trunk release

If it's Mopar, it must be older. The newer ones from the 80's cars look like this.

    73/74 Roadrunner Lower Control Arms

You mentioned years but not model of car. For Chargers, 73-76 takes the same bushing number. #12316 TRW from the catalog I have. As far as the control arm itself, I would imagine it is the same but I can't say for sure. You would have to go to My Mopar and download a parts book to check that.

    73/74 Roadrunner Lower Control Arms

I know. I don’t know why I kept calling them rear. I corrected the thread. Y’all get a good laugh and then let’s move on back to my problem. If this thread is going to turn into a hey this guy is stupid thread I will delete it and move on so get your chuckles in now.

Is there some rule of thumb for shipping a car?

Small, enclosed trailer with enough room for one car. Tow vehicle: RAM diesel pickup; A 2500 series IIRC. Large, enclosed trailer with adequate room for my '70 Charger along with a '69 Roadrunner. Tow vehicle: RAM 3500 diesel pickup. A fair size behemoth; diesel of course.

    73/74 Roadrunner Lower Control Arms

My point is that if you were calling and asking for rear lower control arms and parts you would get a flat NO.

You are correct. I don’t know why I keep saying rear. My brain is not functioning today. Corrected the post. Front lower.

Is there some rule of thumb for shipping a car?

The last five years I ran my tractor trailer, I figured my operating costs at about 85 cents per mile, variation up or down with fuel price fluctuations, my highest expense. Cost for a smaller truck produce prices at the lower end of the spectrum. An enclosed trailer, operated by high end...

Glad to see it isn't just me. To get pictures to post correctly, I had to screenshot my pictures. The screenshots posted correctly. Weird.
