I would like to see the 440 that got 30mpg out of curiosity. I was usually doing good to get 10mpg out of my stock 64 383 Sport Fury (an intermediate). I don’t think my current 440 GTX is any better although I’m a lot calmer driver now.
Wowza! There is nothing I don't like about that car! I especially love the Sport Fury interiors, with 2-tone bucket seats, and gorgeous instrument cluster.
I believe the OP was referring to the rectangular washers that are place between the mount and the bolt that retains the mount to the extension housing.

??? What spacers ???
Assuming you're talking about the mount in the crossmember ... the bottom of the mount has a stud that goes through the bottom of the crossmember and attaches with a nut. The mount attaches to the trans with bolts. There are no spacers - anywhere.
What is their stock mount location? Centered under the dash like they are now, or one on drivers side one on passenger side? There are all kinds of holes under the dash that are getting filled in. Need to know where to mount these for stock factory appearance. Thanks.
I would probably say it was a 76 Volare Wagon factory 318 4-speed car. It had a swapped in 340 cam, eddy intake + 4bbl, cop wheels, 255/60/15's all around, and cop sway bar. I drove it everyday with gusto and put 50,000 miles on it for the grand total investment of ......$500. It never let me...
It is 1 1/4” sway bar. My confusion is it is listed as 1 1/8” on the Firm Feel website, but Matt told me 1 1/4” over the phone. I just got the invoice from Matt and it is listed as 1 1/4” on the invoice. I corrected this thread.
69 b body . Does the 69 b body have those 2 spacers on the tranny mount on a manual setup? The picture in the MMC Detroit book and what I found on line only so an auto transmission. The spacer in the book show it as a washer? Shows it between the bolt and the mount. wouldn't a spacer go...
