Not sure what you mean. Your car originally had a 318 and now has a 440. Was the rear axle and suspension changed with the engine change? Prop shaft came from a what?
Decided to go through everything, mains were mixed up, cast crank had a forged crank balancer. Likely going with a Callies/Scat/Icon 4.150 stroker with either 440 source stealthy or edelbrock performer heads.
I got the Bilstein RCDs for the rear. I had them on my 68 and liked them. For the fronts I got the KYB excels, because the LCAs needed to be modified to fit the matching Bilstein for the front.
Don't select really "stiff" shocks if you're concerned about rattling your dentures. :p

Thank you for this answer. This gives me something I can check! I do have a replacement regulator on the way. The harness I have has a green wire with a sideways connector designed to attach to the screw thread on the regulator at one end, and a matching green wire with a female spade connector...

Instead of using the Car Tool connectors.....it depends on how fast you are going. The 2x2 square tube is very effective and even more so if you cut slots in the rear floor boards. I didn't have to do that on mine but opened up the front portion of the rear frame rails, and cut a couple of holes...
