A lot of recommendations for disc brake conversions

My 67 wagon had the Docs stuff installed by the PO. Had 14's with the 10.95" rotors. Since I switched to 15's, I put the 11.95" rotors on. Just required the larger rotor and caliper mount unit. I like being able to go anywhere to get replacement parts as opposed to having to wait for boutique stuff.

    At SEMA...

I'm rapidly becoming a hater of this silly notched spoiler trend. It's everywhere. The latest annoying trend: notched spoilers

Bob weight for a stock 426 hemi engine?

As Doug said most of these cranks today that they call Hemi cranks are really wedge cranks. You have to have really light components to get under 2500 grams. (I think that's what an Eagle crank starts out with.) And some are lighter than that. Nothings easy about building a Hemi today.

Bug removal from front end of our old cars??

WD-40 is good stuff for that, or removing that crusty white wax residue from the nooks & crannies of your car. When I bought my Grand National from my father--who maintained it meticulously and waxed it yearly--there was decades-old wax buildup in a few places where it was impossible to remove...

I didn’t know we had a famous member

I was on the covers of both Hot Rod and Car Craft the very next month. Also, the full back page of Hot Rod and the center two pages of Car Craft. The truck was the current N/SA National Record Holder at that time. I let my friend set the record the week before as he had always wanted one and...

This only works best if Everyone does it

Anybody who has ever gone skiing and waited in a line for the chair lift understands the "alternate" merge principle. Multiple entry lines all bottleneck down to a single line, and skiers mostly all know to take turns. Skiers who try to cut in front will no doubt get dirty looks, nasty...
