Tips on removing passenger side exhaust manifold?

You can lift the engine on the side without pushing up on the oil pan.

    My Six Pack seems odd

id like to know the science behind a 195 degree and 185 degree thermostat for a 6 pack. regardless of the thermostat temperature, underhood temperature that is affecting a carb wont be much different because of manifolds/headers, etc. So why does the engine thermostat need to be 195?

Interior (can you see it?) or exterior? Hamtramckhistorical has the 74 colors and options book. IIRC 75 started some even more "70's" weird stuff, though.

    At SEMA...

I do like the subtlety of this Chargers spoiler, "not too hot, not to cold", however the spoiler has a flavor of the month design for little good reason, a center notch/depression for a non existent third brake light(?) I suppose.

    Wheel Wednesday

I never understood the fascination with the fake beadlock bolts...I think they look like crap, AND they're a pain in the *** to keep clean. I was looking for rims for my 2001 Ram 2500 a while back, and everything I found had those stupid bolts on them. I ended up going with gen3 Ram factory...

A lot of recommendations for disc brake conversions

Then Dr Diff will be the one I go with. I'll go 10.95. I have a pair of 15" steelies that I'm dropping off this week to get sandblasted.

Whats the Story on the Go-Wing?

That's why they are called options, you can check the boxes you want, not for everyone, but they are for me.

What's the REAL Compression Ratio for Stock 69 440 HP??

The 383 in my Charger has pistons .140" down. Something like 7.3:1 compression. Think I found why my car's a gutless turd.

    Legal advice for employee

When I was terminated from my management consultant deal in a final round of layoffs, I was asked to remain as a driver, with credit for accrued benefits, no severance. I politely asked to review the severance package before making a decision. It was an easy choice, and hard to keep a straight...

Check "clearing" for the nth time

Annual repeated tax refunds are usually an indication of lax tax planning, in that offering the government annual loans essentially interest free is financially ill advised. I am with you in regarding long term positive relationships with tax attorneys, speaking from own experience, however mine...

    Wheel Wednesday

I like that first one (Canyon Pro Polished) best. I'd avoid the others with the fake beadlock bolts because you'll be needing a toothbrush to clean the crud that accumulates in each and every one of those holes.

    At SEMA...

These car lowered to the point of undrivable with ridiculous flares, goofy spoilers, big goofy bling wheels, and carbon fiber everything don't do it for me.

Have you noticed any new trends from SEMA?

The color does play a part, but so does the bumper design. On a Duster or Dart, like that first blue car, the bumpers really stand out as separate from the body, where chrome probably looks better as the bumper looks like a totally separate part. With a 1970 or third-gen Charger, the bumper...

    Electrical education?

Great idea... thanks Mike. I have a solid grasp of residential and machine electrical, but admittedly am a bit weak when it comes to automotive electrical. For a guy whose been a professional machine electrician for over 35 years, it's kind of embarrassing really.

I've been doing business like this all my life, I'm doing just fine. My accountant, like my lawyers, have been with me from the start.
