    Manual to power steering??

I plan to convert my 62 Savoy to power steering also. Initially, I thought I would go with a Borgerson set up but Borgerson told me because I have the 318 poly their conversion package doesn’t work. I’m now thinking I may have to try and locate an original pump and steering box have them rebuilt...

For all of You Train Lovers

Lots of power, but also lots of fuel consumption. That unit carried 2,000 gallons of fuel, plus another 24,000 gallons in the tender. UP also experimented with a turbine train that burned powdered coal instead of oil.

What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

First coat of polyurethane on the rental floors today. It's a semigloss, should dry less shiny... Well...at least one of them is right side up. I'm high from the fumes but even *I* can tell that's not right.....

1974 Roadrunner Re-Paint and Some Upgrades

Looks like the type of backyard body work I do.. Taught myself with old '70s magazine articles It's interesting to see the proper re-do process, because I fully expect to have to do the same thing 10 years down the road to my Charger when I have the means. Hopefully AMD will make sheet metal...

I didn’t know we had a famous member

GTX John is a wonderful man, and deserves all of God's blessings. I bought my 62 Savoy from John, many many years ago, when he still lived in california. Recently, he heard I was having trouble with my trailer, it had suffered a broken axle, and John GIFTED me a pair of takeoff axles to get me...

    Layson's big sale?

We simply do not have enough room in our warehouse to stock every single item we have listed in our catalog. For some of the larger sizes of sheetmetal, there may very well be in-bound shipping charges to get the part delivered here for our customers to pick up. HOWEVER.....if we have other...

    Start circuit question

Yes, to the primary side of the relay. The clutch pedal switch would provide the ground to activate the relay when the pedal is depressed only. If the clutch pedal switch is not used, will need to provide a ground and be careful not to start it while in gear. The same terminal would be used for...

Ok....so thanks again DVW. I have to do something with that post with no black wire attached ( I thought it was green) but I'll have to crawl under the car to find that wire.

    Layson's big sale?

Certainly some of the stuff is sold by Laysons but shipped from the manufacturer. Hence the shipping cost. They have a warehouse, but it is not Amazon-sized. But why don't you just ask Rick any questions you have? They are as close as a phone call.

Good start....with the key in crank position, I have power at all of the blue marks including the solder point on the switch itself. Next?

I don't want to even show up. It's like being in junior high. I just want to obtain my ELDT and test on my own and move on.
