  1. LemonWedge

    Rebuilding LemonWedge.

I see a 67 BB k-member listed for sale about 3 hours from me for a song. Even if I had that item in my hands, would we still be recommending a motorplate? We’ve had this discussion before, Doug. But I don’t remember the pros & cons you laid out. I’m open to either, and willing to look at...

    R/T emblem location:1967 Coronet R/T quarter panel?

Looking for a diagram or measurements to install both R/T emblems back on my 67 coronet qrtr panels. Both qrtr panels were repaired. Need to put back the holes... Only want to drill once! Thanks.

This only works best if Everyone does it

To nobody in particular, say I am out of towner driving on a three-lane interstate, minding my own business in the far-right lane within 1+- mph of the speed limit on cruise control. Traffic is flowing briskly and everybody in my left lanes are driving over the speed limit, bless their souls, or...

    Electrical education?

OK Then... I did some looking on YouTube and found this electrical engineer that has a basic electrical course of 20 videos available. He does a good job at explaining basic electrical principles and progresses to more complex aspects, but it appears to be a great piece for folks that may be...

A lot of recommendations for disc brake conversions

The answer to your question is yes. Whether or not they fit 14" wheels depends on size. 10.95" (stock A-body size) should. The 11.75" (stock b-bocy, Córdoba, size) probably not.

A lot of recommendations for disc brake conversions

Why do you think that happened? I will tell you why. You searched for disc brake conversions for a car that already had disc brakes. If you would of called or messaged Cass he would of set you straight.

392 or 416 that is the question?

I believe that thicker cylinder walls are of benefit. I have an engine bored the least amount possible.

1970 Road Runner Dash Pad Removal

Someone here claimed to do it. I doubt it's easy because the bolts that attach the dash are under the gasket and windshield glass.

Bug removal from front end of our old cars??

I did use it on the chain, it cleaned the cruddy grease and gunk off easily. But then I pressure washed it and reapplied chain lube. You obviously want to re-lube parts that were previously lubed. :)

    Electrical education?

Old age and not doing it everyday will make for long periods of staring to try and remember!

    Smoked a regulator?

They sometimes ground them by replacing the insulation washers with steel. No actual wire.

    Start circuit question

Exactly ....I pushed hard enough, I think, to connect and after checking for power by probing for power on the switch side of the connector I have hot power. I have the column partially disassembled now to follow power thru the switch itself.

1970 Road Runner Dash Pad Removal

So can you pull the dash frame out without taking the windshield out? If so, how difficult? Thx

Sweet....thanks DVW....I'll follow the power flow you laid out here and see if this reveals anything!!!

Bug removal from front end of our old cars??

Don't use it on bike chains though, it attracts and holds sand and grit which'll kill your chain and gearset in a hurry. 0

Northern lights tonight in Iowa pic

Not as good a show last night. Nothing visible to us, but we did get some red hue in pictures.

    Start circuit question

Don....I think I left out a crucial tidbit. I can start with a remote start switch under the hood and that is without any worry of the neutral safety working or not. Yes, the trans is in neutral but I'm not using the 70 specific lock out device. I also have a bare post on my relay that, looking...
