If that's the case i don't have a clue what hose part number you would be looking for.
All the parts catalogs show hoses that bolt directly into the caliper, and that's the type of hoses that i have in their boxes on the parts shelf.
That's why your having a difficult time locating hoses that...
You using 1970 calipers?
Kelsey Hayes, pin type, single piston calipers from 1970 B & E bodies, that i had, looked like this.
Brake hose screws directly into the caliper body.
Ya, a B body guy not needing the upper control arms.
But i would be willing to sell the brakes separately, and just try and find a buyer over on the A bodies site for just the rebuilt upper control arms.
[FOR SALE] - **REBUILT**1973-76 Big Bolt Pattern Disc Brake Parts. Upper Control Arms, Calipers, Caliper Mounts, Spindles, Bearings, Gravel Shields.
I have a rebuilt 73-76 "A" Body disc brake system for your consideration.
You won't have any problems.
When i owned my 71 Hemi GTX 4 speed car, it was front disc brakes and only 10 inch rear drums.
When it needed rears, i went to one of the U-Pull-It wrecking yards, back in the day, and pulled everything 11" by 3" rear brakes wise off a big, full size Chrysler car and...
autoxcuda, miss typed his reply to you.
Lower control arms are not the same between the A body line of cars, and the B-E body line of cars.
There is an overall length difference between the A body cars, and B & E body cars.
Yes the B & E body LCA's are marked RW.
The A body LCA's are marked VL...
I haven't kept track in regards if any vendors make "kits" that still would use factory stock B body 66-69 disc brake spindles.
Your going to have to make up your mind what you want to do with those old brakes of yours.
Sometimes things, like old obsolete brake parts such as spindles, calipers...
Yep, those are 1965-72 Kelsey Hayes, 4 piston calipers, used on the A body line of cars.
65-66 Ford Mustangs got them too, but a slightly different brake hose usage.
Your working with BENDIX disc brake, 4 piston calipers calipers on a 69 Charger.
That braking system is totally obsolete in this modern day and age.
NOTHING is available for them anymore at the parts store level, such as Rock Auto Parts.
If your fortunate to find any rebuild kits for them you...
A 69 Charger has BENDIX disc brake spindles on it.
In 1970 is when KELSEY HAYES single piston calipers, started on the car line.
You better make certain what year, brake system you have on that car, before you go and purchase any parts for it.
66-69 B bodies were BENDIX 4 piston calipers.
66-68 C bodies were BUDD 4 piston calipers.
65-72 A bodies were Kelsey Hayes 4 piston calipers.
And NO, you can't mix mash different systems together to make something work out.
Can't be done.
My thoughts would be 73 up, B body cars, or even 73-74 E body Barracuda, Challenger cars, all the same.
Need a clear, detailed picture of a disassembled spindle, to accurately tell.
No, those aren't Bendix disc brake rotors.
Bendix rotors are two piece, hub and rotor.
You have a conversion.
Here's what a Bendix system looks like, from someones old ad, here on this forum.
FOR SALE - Bendix disc brake assm. 66 -69 B
1965-72 A body Dodge Darts, Plymouth Valiant's, Barracuda's, has disc brakes on them, and they are mounted towards the rear.
They are Kelsey Hayes, 4 piston calipers.
mobileparts, has got to either be buying, Proforged, Moog, Dorman, Centric, LCA bushings, then selling them to his customers, so it really doesn't matter what company that you get them from.
Just who you personally buy parts from.
Personally, i have been using Proforged bushings in all the lower control arms that i have rebuilt, then sold, on the A, B, E, bodies web sites, for years, when i found the quality of Moog bushings went downhill.
Haven't had any complaints at all, from the customers that have purchased from me...
