Non computer controlled RWD with best gas mileage ? Car and truck

Plenty of F/M/J body cars out there CHEAP right now. That fits with easy to work on and perhaps acceptable MPG. Should be able to get high teens/low 20's average. Just missed a 79 Diplomat 318 for $2400 on local CL. Last year was a 79 LeBaron T top 318 for $2700. If you stay on top of the...

The coyotes, deer and raccoons always stop by for a snack.

We've done the same in this country, it's called welfare and once you start it, it becomes perpetual motion and becomes your problem.

    Camshaft selection for Mild 440?

I'm probably gonna keep it simple and run the flat tappet style it is already set up for.

    67 ply belevedre dash removal

I didn’t take “step by step” photos of my last dash swap. There really isn’t much to it. Strip the dash frame, break the bolts loose from underneath with vice grips and back them out enough to get a wrench on the bolt head from above. Comes right out.

    Thosaf extractor set junk

You are often much further ahead to have the pros do it. Late model exhaust studs breaking were a big issue a few years back. A fellow with a portable tig welder would come to your shop for extraction. Even the ones broken off below the surface he could get. He would weld a puddle onto the stud...

    Hi From Illinois

The place for autographs is the FBBO tent at the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals in July. Hawk and Pistol Pete have brought the club luncheon on Saturday to an amazing level. I drive my GTX to the event every year, just one of many member cars making the trek. The two GTXs on my left are also FBBO...

    Camshaft selection for Mild 440?

Great looking Duster ! You will get a ton of suggestions. My 440 was a later low compression one so apples and oranges. You will need to decide between roller and flat tappet to start with. Anyway, good luck

In 1971/1972 did Richard Petty actually drive a Road Runner or was it a Satellite?

I would not say "clearly" it was not. It certainly could have been a Road Runner with a flat hood bolted on. However, in all likelihood it was simply a modified "body in white". I doubt there was a VIN.

My first Big block :D 1969 out of a chrysler new yorker. Ill be swapping it into a 71 Duster. with a 727 and 3.73 suregrip rear. I'm planning on running the stealth aluminum heads, schumacher headers and an aluminum dual plane intake. Looking for a cam that would put me a bit over stock. I...
