But if the switch operates on the column, I assume the only way that works is if the car retains the column shifter (???). That’s long gone here. I’ve never stood behind my car while it’s in reverse, but I am assuming they haven’t worked since I went to the B&M floor shifter decades ago...

    Camshaft selection for Mild 440?

I use the Mopar Performance Magnum cam in my big blocks. This is the one used in 383 RoadRunner and 440 Magnum factory engines. It has a nice rumble at idle, and pulls smoothly to 5500 rpm. Pretty hard to beat factory engineering for a street motor. It gives good vacuum for power brakes. About...

Non computer controlled RWD with best gas mileage ? Car and truck

"Magnum" 5.2, 5.9, and 3.9 started in 92. Easy 100 HP over the 318, and 360. Even more over the 225. 92 has slightly larger exhaust manifolds and the 5.2 is rated only 10 HP lower than the 5.9 that year. IIRC it's a "real" 230/235 NET HP for the 5.2 and a real, net 245 for the 5.9.

this photo is before 69 as the Scouts don't have markers, but the Travelall on the end does, making it a 68. The Travellall and pickup bodies changed for 69 A decked out Scout in 77 would have cost $10-12,000. As much as a Cadillac. 345 V-8, Chrysler torque flight or T19, Dana 20 transfer...

    Bird Nerds

I have two suet + seed feeders on shepard's hooks and a window seed tray feeder along with a 14" heated bird bath. My peeps love my backyard lol Lately been getting a rather boisterous Bluejay going for the seed in the window tray.

Stop on in for a cup of coffee!

Just finished my morning coffee. Today I will be getting my winter bike ready. An 83 XS400. It should run, it did last winter. It needs new pipes. I will bend some later. For now I am cleaning the old ones.

    R/T emblem location:1967 Coronet R/T quarter panel?

I just measured mine. If you project a line (I used masking tape) joining the rear edges of the 2 scallops, the forward edge of the R/T sign is exactly 2" behind that line. The contour of the sign lays over the rear fender crease, as shown in Jerry's picture.

Non computer controlled RWD with best gas mileage ? Car and truck

Guy let his daughter chose her own ride. She picked a used Range Rover. Daves fixit shop posted a video of the thing smoking, and oil everywhere. The turbo was toast plus other stuff. I advised Shirley to stick with Honda for her new car purchase. So far it is fine.
