Went thru a pretty extensive eye exam at the Mather VA this morning.
Guess i did well, as the doc said i would be years and years away from developing any kind of cataract issues.
So, I'm a happy camper.
Went 100 miles up the highway to the Chico, California Pick-N-Pull wrecking yard.
Took a 74 Valiant apart, all disc brake wise, and upper and lower control arms, and sway bar, and brought everything home.
Nice drive up and back the, Highway 99.
I just recently got a pair of hearing aids through the VA Medical Care System, and what these would be costing me, on the outside, when i asked, the technician, without ANY hesitation, said $4,000.00 bucks.
Oh no.
Wow, i honestly didn't know that Justin Hayward is the only member of the group to still be alive.
I probably have a couple dozen Moody Blues "T" shirts of different prints on them that i bought throughout the years, and now I'm an old man of 72 years.
The 1960's sure have gone by since...
The Moody Blues to this day, are my favorite Rock & Roll Band.
Saw them in concert, five time throughout the years.
Reno. Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, Sacramento, San Jose.
Sad to hear of his passing.
R.I.P.
That now makes three of the group gone.
Grayem Edge, Denny Lane, John Lodge.
Everyone R...
Finished up the rebuilding of a all there, 1969-73, Disc Brake system for the cars over on the "C" bodies site, and for earlier cars, i have been told.

Went up to a local Pick-N-Pull wrecking yard and pulled some disc brake parts off a 71 Polara.
I was asked what the car looked like.
Terrible. Must have been sitting outside, for decades.
But, it was a Disc Brake car.
I got everything brake related off it.
Disc brake spindles, rotors & hubs...
I went thru this two weeks ago with UPS, and the Pirate Ship agency that i use in sending out my parts sales.
Sent a brake proportioning valve and lines to my buyer in southern California, from me up here in the northern, Sacramento, California area.
When the box got down to the last UPS...

I have the same issue.
I just want to reply, post, something in that forum, and not allowed to do so.
Haven't gotten an answer.
Don't know...
This morning i found out that my old car has resold.
My old 1971 Hemi GTX, 4 speed car, that i owned for 32 years, has changed owners from owner #6.
Returned a phone call with the now current owner of it.
I'm sure i surprised him with telling him the history behind that GTX.
What part of Germany that city located at?
Spent 2 years in Germany, 1974-76 US Air Force, at the Zweibrucken Air Base.
Jet Aircraft mechanic, flight line crew chief, on the RF-4C Phantoms.
The only reason that this old man has a cell phone was in the past, AT&T informed me that they weren't going to be servicing land line telephones anymore, where i live.
Had no choice in getting one.
A friend that i haven't seen in the longest time knows that i rebuild lower control arms for our A, B, E, body cars.
He needed the removal of the shells in the LCA's, and pressing the shafts into the new bushings, and then everything back into the LCA's.
So he came over, and did that for him...
The dermatologist, skin doctor at the Mather VA, did a couple of skin cancer biopsy's on me this morning.
Now to await the results, findings, on them.
This is what i look like bandaged up, on the one that she did, on the nose.
Didn't like the needle going in, to numb up the area. :(
Finished the rebuilding of the lower control arms that i took off that 63 Fury at the local wrecking yard, Tuesday morning.
Just awaiting a rebound bumper for one of the control arms.
Thought i had some in stock, to put to use, but guess i used them on the last pair of A body LCA's that i went...
