    The original engine was a 2 bbl 383. So I’m hoping it the 5/16. But since reading some of these post, I’m going to order the 7/16 as well.

    The car was never really driven. This guy did a ton of work and it was never driven. It hasn’t been on the road since 1984.

    I am rebuilding a 1963 383. It has Early 324 heads with aluminum rocker stands. I was wondering if anyone here has used these heads with a hydraulic roller cam and adjustable rocker arms?

    From the picture that doesn't even look like it's lined up with the hole. It can ONLY bolt on one way to get all 4 bolts in.

    Actually you might have the 5/16" screws. The first listing I believe is 5/16" and the second is 7/16". So the flex plate with the round hole is 5/16", and that looks like what you have...

    I would check the flex plate carefully for cracks. It was probably flexing a lot with one bolt missing.
