Compressed 6pak steel shim. I'll use them.

I’m just stating my experience. The smaller 120psi compressor lifted it but not fully. The 150psi compressor extended it fully.

Unknown thick black gasket. Similar to 1009 results.

1009 with same bore. Fire ring is starting to hang in the bore.

8519 felpro on a 4.36 bore. Fire ring is nicely away from the bore.

I would trust those tires that haven't been installed over these tires sitting on the car for years.

I was looking on Lowe’s and Home Depot’s sites. They don’t have 5/16 24 only 5/16 18. I don’t have a Menards but I do have a Tractor supply. They have a great selection of fasteners.

As an auto tech and service manager back in the day (in the 90,s & 2000,s) general rule was tires were good for 10 years under normal driving conditions. Sitting in one spot for many years won’t be considered normal. Not sure if the same would apply today though as with everything there is built...

if I'm changing tires or front brakes, my car is on the ground on jack stands. If you've got a 4-post lift, I guess it sounds a bit easier - never thought of that.

what are you guys liking for a magnetic underhood LED shop light? I want something that will easily stick under the hood and long enough to illuminate the whole engine bay but not have too much of a problem casting shadows.
