And you took it apart before you found water/coolant the oil. Amd it's not even winter yet so you have a few months to get it back together. Why did it crack? Timing or fuel mix problems? Overheating? If 3 guys never saw this they why are you having it. Think over the operation of the car...

Not sure if i'd sell. It's a big part of your legacy. Once it's gone it'll cost a lot to replace it at todays prices. The older you get (i'm 77) the more you'll regret selling your memories off.

1135 mr. gasket steel .

Compressed 6pak steel shim. I'll use them.

I’m just stating my experience. The smaller 120psi compressor lifted it but not fully. The 150psi compressor extended it fully.

Unknown thick black gasket. Similar to 1009 results.

1009 with same bore. Fire ring is starting to hang in the bore.

8519 felpro on a 4.36 bore. Fire ring is nicely away from the bore.

I would trust those tires that haven't been installed over these tires sitting on the car for years.
