I have a couple of the 1/4 turn ball valves on my out side water pipes and both of them leaked after a few years. My fix was to install brass Y adapters to them. The 1/4 turn valves are supposed to be industrial grade if such a thing exits. Worked fine for a couple of years but the Y adapters...

New houses here since probably the late 70's do not have NG...and this place was built in 76. My last house had NG but wasn't built with central AC. That place was built in 55. Here, the gas company didn't want to supply a free line unless I converted the whole house to NG....at first but then...

House is all electric but have a fireplace too. Been while since using it though. Used to keep a stash of firewood in case the power goes out but not doing that this year. Used to have gas up to the front of the shop for heat out there but the gas company got pissy with me being a 'seasonal'...

I have a bead roller and found out pretty quick that it needs some practice lol....and nowadays, don't need it.

Last check was 841 and don't think it's been higher than that....and I pay off my cards every month too. Lots of years ago when I was having to pay my youngest kid's school bill, I did carry some credit card balances but hated doing that and never have liked any debt including a mortgage one...
