Thanks, for your input! I know the load is carried between the bearing and the race but I can slide the bearing on the spindle and it's not even close to tight. It wiggles all over the place and, yeah, I'm not comfortable with that so a new one is on the way.
Had the same problem on my '70 charger and I don't know if its same as '69 Bee, but I had to install the whole panel on the inside because it acts as a guide to the window. Sounds like the same problem I had. Hope this helps.

I currently have American Racing Torq Thrust IIs on my 69. The fronts are 17x7 and the rears are 18x8. I’m not a huge fan of “big” wheels and small sidewalls on 60s-70s cars. I also have a set of American Racing Outlaw 1 wheels, 15x7 front, and 15x8.5 rear. The 17/18s kinda grew on me a little...
