9 Fastest Muscle Cars of 1973.

I can tell you from personal experience the GTO's were vastly overrated, at least on the street in real time. If anyone believes those mag tests were purely objective, I got a bridge to sell you.

    First of December...

The car that inspired me to want a Corvette was an orange 68 Corvette roadster 427 4 speed with side pipes. My friend's mother's boyfriend owned the car,and after getting a ride in the car, a third generation Corvette became a bucket list car for me. My friends friend's mother burned her leg...

    valve cover fitment issues

Most aftermarket distributors require minor shaving of the valve cover. Not a big deal.

    Wiring Questions / Discussion

Bulkhead connectors were great for assembly lines - subsystems like dashes, engines, etc. could be prewired and just plugged in as the vehicle progressed down the line. On custom cars they can be handy in that you don't have a huge, complete harness to contend with and, quite importantly...

The star is shining on my Island place. The outdoors lights are up and running on Shirleys mainland place. Next week I will erect the fake tree. Shirley will decorate. The following Saturday I will be back on my Island to light up the boat. One night only. Then back to the mainland for Christmas...

    valve cover fitment issues

I don't see how one head would be different than any other. Likewise with MSD distributors. That said, that would make the valve covers the culprit. Its sounding to me like the covers you have have the walls of the covers "outide" the bolts - in other words, you use long bolts through tube to...

Need some opinions on wheel choices

Cragars are number 1 for me like on my red Charger, then grey or polished torque thrust wheels like on my red Challenger and even Keystones are my favorite old school wheels. I like the Weld Magnum 2.0's on my blue Challenger for a more race look.

Um, can we see more of that Hemi?

I went the EFI route to make the car more drivable and keep the engine in the proper air fuel window at all times.

9 Fastest Muscle Cars of 1973.

The first real muscle cars by Pontiacs own definition of a mid sized car with a large high performance engine, were the Max Wedge cars. 425 horsepower dual quad engines in intermediate B body cars. Those cars would stomp any GTO ever built.
