I live in a damn blue state, but close enough to the Idaho border where I go to fill my 125 gallon transfer tank with diesel. It was $4.79 here and $3.45 there last time I filled it. 60 mile round trip and the station is next to a Cabelas. Worth the effort.
I already want to take my jack handle to the gas pumps that have ads. I record everything I watch on TYV so I can skip the ads. I cannot imagine being subjected to it in my own vehicle. Any car company that will try and sell me a car with ads with not be getting my business.
My go-to in california is Sam's in Glendora. $3.97 for 87, $4.87 for diesel.
Costco across the street is same price for 87, doesn't have diesel.
You can pay over a buck more, in the same area, by pulling into the wrong station (name brand gas).
I'm using the trap door air cleaner on the '72 Satellite Sebring Plus project car. Not sure exactly how the hoses route between warm air door, trap door, and carburetor but I'll figure it out.
