So I finally got the thing fired up yesterday and now it is time to get everything buttoned up. I am missing a few plug wire holder doohickys and I am wondering if the enclosed pic is the proper one to get from classic industries?
MN2224 is the part # that contains the connectors/fasteners...
Not sure if it appropriate to bring up an old thread or not, but here goes!
I am finally back on getting spark to the dizzy and although this is supposed to be simple I need a bit more input here. I was reviewing this topic and I just now saw that becuase I am running the MSD RTR I would more...
I do have the old one, but all the guts came out of it and ran down the firewall. Car has no spark, but I have yet to really dig in the troubleshoot the issue. I’ll keep the old one and install the new one as a shotgun approach. If still no spark, I’ll start tow ts it.
I was looking online for a new ignition module. When I fill out my car info on several parts sites, it says it will not fit my car when I select what I believe is the correct module. Mine is a 5 pin module(see pic), but the sites seem to think it should be a 4 pin module? Any input would be...
72RR, I was able to have another look yesterday and I confirmed the tach wire (Gray White) is in place. The wire in question is definitely Black/White.
I was so focused on the wiper switch I didn't even look at the heater control! I'll get a chance to have a look maybe later today. Thanks a ton Nacho-RT74 for the help.
Enclosed is a picture of the wire. It seems to be a ground and it is in the harness that contains the wires for the windshield wiper switch. I don’t see anywhere on the switch that looks like a tab broke off, but who knows?!
Ok, wow! outstanding info. I'm glad I didn't do anything yet. That red wire is so short from the fuse block/power window relay over to the breaker in the kick panel I'll need to reroute or replace it. I'll have another look. Thanks much!
Folks, once again I come here to seek advice. Hopefully at some point I will actually be able to help as all of you do. I am still working through a few issues with the wiring. Today’s effort is in and around the fuse panel. Enclosed are a few pics that show a red wire from the relay mounted the...
I really appreciate all the help so far on this car. I did have a chance to drop the column and now I can see the other mount location for the switch. Second pic is the cruise control leaving the steering column, never have found the other end. But, with the column out I will be able to have a...
70chall440, I no some one had mentioned that to me before as it is a tilt column. I’lol crawl under there again to see if I can find the other mount points.
