i think that the w/p bolts are a specialty bolt. the reason i say that is, if i remember correctly, they have a drill hole that has nylon in it. they don't use a lock washer as they would rub the pulley.

that is the transmission weight for driveline drone/moan. never saw one that was bolted above trans. see if there is a flat pad on trans tail housing and if the bolt holes match up.
excessive internal pressure. pcv not working as stated above. do you have a pan-o-vac kit on it? if not maybe look into it. we put the p-o-v on all our stuff and do not have any concerns like that.
